A Visual Journey
See what I’ve been up to lately
I may have cancer, but I refuse to let that stop me from living my life. I do take my days to hibernate and recharge, but it is only so I can get back out there to spend time with my favourite people and nature. Since moving to Vancouver 11 years ago, I have embraced the beauty of my backyard. There is no other place I feel I could have had the strength to turn myself into the warrior I am now. There is just something about those mountains, that ocean, and all the fresh air that comes along with it. Don’t be fooled, though— I am far from a homebody. That travel bug hasn’t left me since I took my first solo trip to Greece for 3 months when I was 21. The wanderlust urge is stronger than ever— I usually have my next trip booked before my most recent one begins. Fuck you, cancer; I’m still going to see the world. Please take a look at my visual journey this year. Make sure you check back from time to time for monthly photo updates. If you are with me, I also ask you to document it and send it to me. I look at this page almost weekly to remind me that I can do this thing called life, even through the toughest of challenges.
